HAILEE + MIKE: June Wedding at Zigbone Farm Retreat

Zigbone is not only a stunning property, but it's extra special because it's a retreat-style venue, where you rent the whole property out for a few days and all of your people can stay together on property. Picture rehearsal dinner followed by a fire with s'mores, waking up already at your venue, family and friends in the kitchen cooking breakfast and sitting around the table the next morning.

Hailee and Mike booked their wedding with me when she was pregnant with their son, Ellis, and dreamed of their loved ones passing him around and loving on him during their wedding day and that’s exactly what happened. It was really cool to see that dream become a reality for them.

Mike and Hailee's dads both passed before their wedding, so they chose to honor them in a few different ways throughout their day. Mike wore a pinky ring that belonged to his dad and a feather bow tie that belonged to Hailee's dad.

Zigbone has a staircase that goes up the back of the main house that gives you the perfect opportunity to snag an "everyone" photo. All guests with the couple! We had Hailee and Mike do their recessional and then had the officiant and dj announce to guests to please stay seated for a photo as I ran up the stairs, and the couple circled back for the shot. Love venues like this that allow for an "everyone" photo and post-ceremony like this made it so easy.
